The Myth

It's origin is uknown, this symbiont weapon has been around for thousands of years.  This living weapon picks only the strongest, smartest, and strong minded women to weild its immense power.   Each weilder must go through a trial known as the Periculum.  If the chosen fails she will die and another will be chosen.  In the later part of the 21st century, Sarah Pezzini was chosen.   The weapon only turns up during times of great unmatched evil and has been worn by Joan of Arc among other great warriors. (I distinctly remember seeing Bodeccia during the trial episode of season 1).
